Welcome to Mbombela City

Mbombela City is situated in the Eastern part of South Africa and is the capital of Mpumalanga Province. The city serves as a gateway to some of the best eco- and adventure activities in Southern Africa and with its moderate climate, it becomes the preferred tourist destination all year round. Our sub-tropical fruits (like mangos, avocados, oranges, lemons, litchis and bananas) is a huge drawing card for visitors and during spring-time the blossoms of orange trees can be smelt for kilometres. For shopping enthusiasts the city offers world class shopping malls, casinos and entertainment venues with air conditioning systems. This creates excellent opportunities for prospective investors and businesses to establish themselves in the area.

Kindly be all informed about Hazyview Water Levels Update (13/03/2015) which are currently as follows:

N.B. We have experienced a major pipe break at Numbi Park, Buffel Street which is a 100mm Asbestos pipe and also contributed a lot towards a low water levels situation, and during this period our Hazyview communities should use water sparingly so, until the water situation gets normalised.

Hazyview Water should be used sparingly

The little hamlet of Tonteldoos will again be hosting its very own Country Festival this year. Over the past years donkeys have become a major attraction of the annual Tonteldoos Country Festival. The route for the donkey cart rides is on the festival grounds and it is a safe and very popular and enjoyable activity for young and old. The drivers or owners stand a chance to win a cash prize for the donkeys and cart in best condition.

We plan to start working on the R 40 Between Tiger Wheel and BP garage at River Side next week (19 January --- 19 February)

We will be closing the 2 inner lanes for safety purposes (at least for a month)

We need the public to be informed

We need the public to be tolerant towards the workers as

1.     we will be restoring the streetlights

2.     we will be making it safer to drive at night

3.     we will be making it more difficult to steel the cabling (theft prevention)

4.     we will be repairing the island properly

February 2015

February affords us an opportunity to take stock of the impact the fast paced, and unrelenting demands of our lifestyles have on our bodies. We are pressed for time, and this translates to less time to sleep, less time to spend with family, less time to be conscious of the aspects that make up our diets in our quest for convenience, but most importantly less time to take care of our most essential resource, our bodies. More often than not we become complacent with taking a reactive approach owing to this,  when our health is concerned, until even the slightest, most manageable of ailments escalates and becomes life threatening. Simple remedies like  well-informed dietary choices, sufficient water intake, adequate sleep, exercise, rest, and even a free dose of  laughter, often neglected, come back to bite us with our health falling short when we need these extraordinary vessels to perform at their peak when we need them to the most.
